Step by step towards Success
Initially, ALDI SÜD decided to use Cammio as a stand-alone solution during a pilot phase in the spring of 2020. The possible applications in the area of video recruiting had to be tested and evaluated extensively. The focus here was on time-shifted video interviews as a substitute for the classic telephone interviews used in the initial selection process.
From the outset, however, it was clear that the only way to ensure the desired optimization of the recruiting process was through integration with SAP SuccessFactors, which was already established in the company.
With projekt0708, ALDI SÜD chose an implementation partner that not only has an SAP Gold Partnership and Microsoft Partner status, but also recognized expertise in various areas of SAP SuccessFactors.
After the promising outcome of the pilot phase, which lasted several months, projekt0708 began with the integration of Cammio into SAP SuccessFactors. The main challenge here was to adapt to the decentralized corporate structure. The ultimate goal was to have the ALDI SÜD group as well as each of the regional companies independently handling time-shifted video interviews in all departments, for all positions, with SAP SuccessFactors via Cammio. Access had to be limited to the data relevant to the respective company.
The data exchange between Cammio and SAP SuccessFactors runs on Microsoft Azure, a reliable cloud computing platform that additionally reduces the existing computing power load on the user side.
After only about four months, this project stage was completed in November 2020. It involved special attention to IT security testing as well as extensive load tests.
