projekt0708 today announced that it has been awarded an SAP® Recognized Expertise designation in the area of User Experience. The designation was granted based on the company’s demonstrated expertise and skills in user experience and the successful completion of SAP Recognized Expertise requirements in the SAP® PartnerEdge® program.
“This recognition includes meeting competency criteria for trained and certified individuals and a successful project resume in the focus area or industry in addition to a track record of customer success and satisfaction”, commented Dirk Jäckel, Chief Technology Officer of projekt0708 GmbH.
The company’s qualifying customer projects included, among others, the individual programming of SAP Fiori® and SAPUI5-based personnel-centered resource planning for dm-drogerie markt GmbH + Co. KG, as well as an individual software solution for the application and administration of overtime requests using SAP Employee and Manager Self-Services on behalf of a well-known German automotive corporation. Moreover, projekt0708 managed to support numerous companies from a wide variety of industries with SAP Fiori and SAPUI5-based solutions in the area of SAP ERP Human Capital Management (SAP ERP HCM) processes and forms in the implementation of their digitization strategy, thus demonstrating their own expertise in the area of user experience.
With the achievement of SAP Recognized Expertise in User Experience, projekt0708 demonstrates its experience in the implementation of user-centered software development as well as agile project management, including a design thinking approach and scrum method in the SAP Fiori environment. With SAP Fiori, SAP is establishing an independent design system, which is of particular importance in the development of mobile applications. In its comprehensive design guidelines, SAP describes how an SAP Fiori app should be structured and designed in order to standardize cross-application user experience. To meet the SAP Fiori standard, an application must be solution-oriented, appealing to the user in a coherent, simple, and adaptive manner.
“Our apps use SAP Fiori to follow a fundamental design paradigm based on tried-and-tested findings on usability, enabling users to utilize new applications and orientate themselves easily,” explains Dirk Jäckel, Chief Technology Officer at projekt0708. “The strict structural requirements leave enough room to design freely, for example to adapt applications to the customer's corporate design.”
As an SAP gold partner since 2016, projekt0708 can substantiate above-average performance in many areas. Together with the Dutch AI specialist, Textkernel, projekt0708 introduced the “p78 Quick Apply” and “Search & Match Suite” for SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting, as an app for HR managers in July 2020.

SAP awards the title of SAP Recognized Expertise in more than 30 different categories. With this achievement in the area of user experience, projekt0708 has now substantiated know-how in five of these categories.
