To adapt its recruiting to the possibilities of everyday multimedia, ALDI SÜD decided to optimize its existing application processes. projekt0708 took over the integration of Cammio video recruiting into SAP® SuccessFactors®.
With 1940 stores and more than 47,500 employees in western and southern Germany, ALDI SÜD is one of the leading discounters on the German market. As an employer, the company handles applications in the six-figure range every year. For this reason, ALDI SÜD, with its headquarters in Mühlheim and 28 subordinate regional companies, pays great attention to the quality of its recruiting and constantly reviews it for optimization potential.
"We wanted to offer candidates more flexibility, whilst also simplifying the selection process for our recruiters," said Sabine Bluhm, HR Consultant at ALDI SÜD, explaining the decision for video recruiting.
After a successful test phase of Cammio video recruiting as a stand-alone solution, ALDI SÜD commissioned the Munich-based IT Services and Consulting company projekt0708 to integrate the system into its existing cloud-based SAP SuccessFactors solutions. With time-shifted video interviews, the number of on-site interviews could be reduced and the time could be significantly shortened between advertising and filling a position (time to hire). The streamlined integration with SAP SuccessFactors helps to further optimize the recruiting process.
The success of this integration was already evident at ALDI SÜD during the test phase. The company has already planned the extension of the use of optional functions, such as video job ads. ALDI SÜD is convinced of projekt0708 as a partner. (Insert name, title of person quoted) at ALDI SÜD commented, "From the very first day of the project to the continuous support, all employees were highly motivated and put their heart and soul into their work."
